Felipe Massa has been all but ruled out of driving his Ferrari car in Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix after a piece of debris hit him in the face during practice, putting him in hospital in a stable condition after crashing at Turn Four, where formula 1 cars regularly reach speeds of 200 kilometres per hour.

Massa was driving behind fellow Brazilian Rubens Barrichello of the Brawn GP when a piece of debris, most likely a fragment of car tire, struck him in the helmet, causing him to drive into the tire barrier at the side of turn four of the Hungarogring circuit.

Massa spent a lot of time still sitting in the car while being given medical attention, then was shifted to the medical centre at the track where Barrichello said he was conscious and talking, and was then airlifted to the nearest hospital.

Expansion to the desktop and full-powered laptops will most likely follow.
